NFFL Members As Actors

With the launch of our new website, I felt it was only right to dip my toe in the blog

game. I will also preface with saying these comparisons could be on the actor in real life

but also based on the characters they have played and what they are most known for.  

Without further ado, I present to you: NFFL members as actors.

Adam - Kevin James.  Given the recent viral sensation, someone had to be Kevin

James and I thought it was only right for it to be me.  Chubby, goofy, long island native

with queens ties, and die-hard Mets fan.  The list goes on and on.  

Bourke - Tom cruise.  Although one is certainly more handsome than the other (I’ll let

you, the reader, decide), they are both undoubtably among the best in their respective

fields (acting and fantasy football).  However, both have never been able to bring home

the hardware they truly covet - an Academy Award or an NFFL Championship.  

Joe - Kevin hart.  Aside from the obvious height comparisons, I have also never heard a

single serious word come out of either of their mouths.  Just a jokester through and

through and we love them for that.  

Keer - Vin diesel.   Both are strapping and handsome gentlemen, however, both can

also tune up your car if there’s an oil leak or if you’re looking to go racing through the

streets.  

Greg - Shawn William Scott.  If you don’t think Greg is Stiffler you have not been paying

attention.  We’re all still waiting for the day Greg will grow out of this high school

partying phase.   

Shane - Christopher Walken.  One of the older and (arguably) wiser members of both

the acting world and the NFFL.  I’ve also heard chatter that while Christopher walkens

days on earth may be numbered, could Shane’s run as NFFL commish also be

numbered?! Or both could go strong for another 10 years, who is to say?! 

Pape - will Ferrell.  Just an absolute clown in every sense of the word.   Whether you

are laughing with him or laughing at him, you’ll most certainly have some laughs when

both these men are around or on the screen.  

Barb - mark wahlberg.  I don’t have great reasoning for this one other than barb gives

me mark wahlberg vibes.  Not the tallest of the bunch but for as long as I can

remember, they’ve both had cute, defined muscles.  Wahlberg also just fits so well as a

cop (departed, the other guys). 

Cetta - Jonah hill.  Don’t take yourself too seriously, both are in their best forms when

they are making us laugh (i.e. - Superbad or joking about polos) and not trying to take a

more serious approach (i.e. - supporting terrorists, War Dogs)

Nicky - Robert deniro.   Pretty simple here, both men could have you 6 feet under

before sundown if push comes to shove.  Need I say more?  

Pat - Heath ledger.   First of all RIP but this one just felt right!  I’d be hard pressed to find

a bad word said about either of these guys.  They also have the adaptability to play so

many different roles in their career.  Heath goes from a heart throb in 10 things I hate

about you to one of the greatest movie villains of all time as the Joker.  Pat is an

aspiring nurse anesthetist by day but has never been a stranger to extracurricular

activities on the weekend ;) and pissing any bed he lays in head down in. Utility players

like you read about. 

Fischer - Justin long.  A perfect example of someone I do not seem often enough but

whenever I do, the laughs are simply off the charts.
